Music in IBP

In a headphone advertisement, music plays a critical role. BOSE features the song Hier encore by Charles Aznavour which is a french song. "Hier encore" translates to "only yesterday" and given the theme of past lovers in the video, the song plays a related role in the ad creating a nostalgic feeling. The feeling of past loves relates to most people because everyone has had a love at one point or another. With BOSE headphones, songs that remind you of the past can be heard with the highest of clarity. I feel this music choice is very effective in relation to the theme of the ad. I have never seen this ad or heard the song "Hier Encore" prior to being exposed to this ad. Considering it is a french song I am not surprised that I hadn't heard it although Charles Aznavour is a popular french singer.
